Fatback

Fatback plays New Orleans style jazz and early swing favorites from the 20s and 30s. We primarily perform the music of Louis Armstrong, Sydney Bechet, Duke Ellington and NOLA traditional 2nd line favorites. Led by trombonist and Ellington enthusiast Pete Anderson, the band members are some of Richmond’s finest swingers. Instrumentation: Trumpet, Trombone, Clarinet, Banjo, Bass, Drums
